Professor John D. Wong, Associate Dean (Undergraduate) of the Faculty of Arts and Associate Professor of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, has been awarded the Research Output Prize 2022-23.

The objective of the Research Output Prize is to recognize the best research outputs in different Faculties. Professor Wong’s book Hong Kong Takes Flight : Commercial Aviation and the Making of a Global Hub, 1930s-1998, published by Harvard University Asia Center and distributed by Harvard University Press, is identified as one of the most outstanding research output published or created in the preceding calendar year.
