OVERVIEW

The Institute is one of the independent research units at The University of Hong Kong. Administratively it reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. The Director consults the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) on major development issues of the Institute.

THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

At the core of the Institute’s governance is an Executive Committee. Members are senior academics and professionals positioned in Hong Kong, China and overseas. It meets bi-annually to review the mission of the Institute, endorse program proposals and budgets, and discuss its institutional development. Current members are as follows:
