Professor Naubahar Sharif is a core member of the Institute’s research cluster “Science, Technology and Medicine in Asia Society” and Co-Principal Investigator of the CRF project “Making Modernity in East Asia: Technologies of Everyday Life 19th – 21st Centuries”. Professor Sharif’s current research focuses are on innovation and technology policymaking in Hong Kong, the impact of the One-Belt-One-Road initiative in Pakistan, and also the process of industrial automation, including robotics, unfolding in Southern China.
