      Overview

      Dr. Li Dongdong is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in archaeology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. Dr. Li has conducted multiple archaeological excavations and surveys in China, Chile, and the USA. His research mainly focuses on the emergence of walled towns and the social complexity of early China. Dr. Li’s research specialty is the application of quantitative methods and GIS in archaeological study.
