Mr. Longwen Fu

Mr. Longwen Fu visited the Department of Sociology at the University of York in the UK in January and June 2018, to be mentored by medical sociologist Prof. Sarah Nettleton. He audited graduate courses, attended workshops and gave a conference presentation while continuing research work on his PhD thesis “Making Residents: Professional Socialization and the Challenges of Standardized Residency Training in China.” Mr. Fu returned to the University in the summer of 2018 to continue his PhD studies.
