Andrew Liu

Assistant Professor, Department of History, Villanova University
Dr. Andrew Liu is an Assistant Professor of modern Chinese history at Villanova University. He received his Ph.D. in global and international history from Columbia University in 2014. His current manuscript, based upon his dissertation and entitled Tea War: a history of capitalism in China and India, is under contract with Yale University Press. Dr. Liu was the recipient of Transregional Research Junior Scholar Fellowship, InterAsian Contexts and Connections, Social Science Research Council in 2016.
