Will Glover

Will Glover is Associate Professor of Architectural History, Director of the Center for South Asian Studies, and Associate Director of the International Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan. Glover’s research focuses on the social, cultural, intellectual, and material cultural histories of colonial architecture and urbanism in South Asia. Glover’s recent book, Making Lahore Modern: Building and Imagining a Colonial City (University of Minnesota Press, 2008) won the American Institute of Pakistan Studies’ Junior book award in 2009. He is currently conducting research for a new project entitled, ‘The Aesthetics of Modernization: Reformatting Ordinary Life in Twentieth Century South Asia.’
