WU WENBING 吳文兵
PhD Student (Admitted in 2019 – 2020)
Field Area: Economic history and political economy
Wenbing is a Ph.D. candidate at the HKIHSS, The University of Hong Kong. Before entering into the Ph.D. program, he completed an MPhil degree in social sciences at the Division of Social Science, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in sociology at Shanghai University and Tsinghua University. His research focuses on economic history and political economy. He is currently working on a thesis project about institution and development in historical China.
